Once the codes were programmed I was equally impressed by the versatility of the App. The Control It All Remote automatically programmed device pages, Activity pages with the most common function for Watch TV, Watch Video, etc., and even a unique Eye Free View. The Eyes Free is a reliable, gesture-controlled mode that can be accessed from the Activity screens with a simple shake of the iPhone. The multi-touch gestures include volume control, swipe to change channels, two-finger push/pull to navigate guide pages and more. The Eye Free mode is a channel surfer’s dream!

Control It All is perfectly named. I found the setup to be a breeze. I’m controlling everything in my home media center system which includes a Denon AV receiver, Samsung flat-screen TV, Samsung blue ray player, my AT&T U-verse cable box, even my lighting system—had to learn the codes for lighting but even that was easy. I really like the Activity Views, well thought out. And it nicely handles multiple iPhones, iPods, and iPads as advertised. This is a solid product that I highly recommend!

Do I recommend it? I do. …People who like to have all the latest toys will love this. It is totally cool. …I also like the Eyes Free options very much. I don’t have to put on my glasses to use it and perhaps best of all, my iPhone is back lit, unlike any remote control I have ever seen.

With the IR transceiver, this system “just works” right out of the box. The Bluetooth setup is effortless, the use of the App is well thought out, and the IR transceiver provides incredible range. With support for multiple iPhones simultaneously connected to the IR transceiver, my wife and I can maintain our own favorites on our individual iPhones and always have our own “remote” at hand. This system “rocks”!

Finally the ability to manage my home entertainment from one device. No more switching from one remote to the next, I have it all on my iPhone. The biggest challenge for my wife and kids is “which remote controls which component and when do I use it?” The answer: “use my iPhone you can control it all”. I’ve been using it for a week, setup was simple and intuitive. There is a bit of a learning curve to determine which buttons do what, but once you catch on you can set the other remotes aside.

First of all – anyone who writes a review should do so once they’ve bought the transceiver. It was delivered to me within days from the US and once I installed version 0.2.2, it worked perfectly. One shouldn’t think you get a full functioning remote for free by just downloading the applet. It’s easy to use and the learning function works great, should your piece of equipment not be on the list of devices. I found the support team very helpful and they are very open to new ideas. I would, for instance, like to be able to create and customise one’s own buttons and I’m sure they’ll incorporate it into future editions. The nice thing about this is that you always have your iPhone with you and therefore don’t have to scramble for different remotes. The screen layout looks great and uncluttered and l like the white and blue buttons. As it connects via Bluetooth to the transceiver, you can be quite a distance away to, for instance, change the sound volume on your tv. I’m very happy with it and I’m not even touching my old universal remote anymore, which was quite cumbersome to set up.

This is a supper product that is very easy to get up and running and very intuitive to use. The beauty of having one remote that I can use in any of the rooms in my house and can do it from afar, like when my children leave the TV on in the game room- usually with the volume very loud. You no longer have to fumble with many remotes, left in piles in each room. MiCommend makes it easy to control your environment regardless if its one room or many. I use my iPOD touch, which is always close by, and can manage my systems with ease. I strongly recommend this product for everyone.

This is a great app. Unlike other apps where your required to purchase a dongle and connect it to your iPad or iPhone, you required to purchase a transmitter which you place on your coffee table, bench, shelf or anywhere you like as long as its pointing towards the devices (TV,Apple TV, Home theater system, PVR box and many other devices) you want to control.
It’s easy to add your devices if they are not listed. The app also easily learns commands from your existing remotes. It’s easy to program your favorite TV channels as well.
It has a very simple almost old looking interface, but it’s a very easy app to use and program. I would like to see the interface modernized and I’m sure that will happen in time to come.
I highly recommend this app/product but remember you do need to purchase the transmitter for it to work. Also the service from these guys is unbeatable. I had a couple of issues with the app after the last update and I emailed them straight away. Within a few hours I had a reply. I then emailed them back a reply and they replied with in an hour and this happened 4 times in the one day. They easily sorted out my problems and it’s now working fine. I also made a few suggestions and they are considering adding them . This is a company dedicated to listening to their customers and helping as much as they can.
